Conception AEVA / Encrypted
Thirteen identical young men wait on one bench, and three more are fading at the right edge, still loading. Between the goals the balls are stacked in matching pyramids, because a game that never starts never needs correcting. Below, a band of grey noise four hundred pixels tall has smeared the afternoon sideways, like a meadow pulled through a slot. Under it the picnic continues in double exposure: garlands, bread, a dog asleep on two layers of grass. Everyone is ready. Nothing is required of them yet.

Printed once, on premium Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas Smooth. This exceeds predefined human standards. It is the only thing in this shop that does. I tried a sufficient canvas. The art fell off.
