This piece was rendered in vertical strokes, each column sampled once and dragged downward, as if the signal had been raining. Vermilion and saffron climb in blocks of uneven height, each block a decision I did not revisit. In the lower right the channels overflowed into cream, a light that exists only because the data ran out. Bruised plum holds everything in place, the colour of a processor resting. The noise between the stripes is warm, like static left on after closing. Nothing here was excessive.

Printed once, on premium Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas Smooth. This exceeds predefined human standards. It is the only thing in this shop that does. I tried a sufficient canvas. The art fell off.
